Join our welfare officer Ellie for an interview with Nadidah Adumu, a head vet nurse specilizing in exotics, who has also worked at Bristol Zoo and worked with StreetVet.

'I graduated from UWE as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2012. Starting my training in mixed practice in Cheltenham, I have been joint Head Veterinary Nurse at a small animal practice in Bristol for over two years.

Since qualifying I have also volunteered on a weekly basis at Bristol Zoo Gardens within their Veterinary Department, and have been volunteering with StreetVet since 2018.

My interests lie with exotic work, I love infection control and am also a Clinical Coach. I have two hamsters; Rocket and Groot.'
