RVCSU Elections 2018

Its that time of the year again when we start thinking about who will be the next Student Union dream team! If you are a the type of person who loves to get involved behind the scenes, love to help people, and are a team player, RVCSU needs you!

We are looking to elect our new Officer team for the 2018/19 academic year and nominations open TODAY and will be open for 4 weeks.

If you have ever considered running for an SU position, then please read the attached role descriptions and see what would be the best fit for you ?? RVCSU is key to representing students, andsupporting our clubs and societies. Its also a great opportunity to learn a whole host of skills, meet incredible people, and hold a privileged position where you can really make a difference.


We are looking for an SU President, VP Rep Comms, VP Treasurer, VP Welfare, VP Activities & Campaigns, Vet Nursing Liaison Officer,  Postgraduate Officer, Environment Officer, International Officer, Camden Officer, Entertainment Officer, Equality and Diversity Officer, AVS rep, IVSA Rep, and Raising and Giving officer.


As well as the attached role descriptions, you can find more information about the roles by talking to our current SU officers. We will be holding Meet and Greet sessions in both campuses in the coming weeks.

The Presidents and Vice President roles are paid positions, at £6000 a year and £4000 a year respectively, other roles are unpaid. 

The role of SAVMA Representative was voted for early this year and so is not available.

Both AVS and IVSA Representative positions are 2 year commitments (junior rep in first year elected, then senior rep in subsequent year).
