Who Can Drive the Minibuses

To hire a minibus, you must find a driver who meets the eligibility criteria and can be insured.

Driver Requirements:

Drivers must:

• Be 21 years old or over

• Have held a full UK driving licence for at least three years

• Have had no accidents, claims or convictions in the past three years

• Have completed a driving proficiency test with the Minibus Manager

• Be a current RVC student

Insurance:

• Insurance is arranged for specific dates only.

• Even if a driver has been insured previously, a new request must be submitted for each date the minibus is required.

• Driving without a valid date-specific insurance request in place is not permitted.
