Welcome to the Farm Animal Veterinary Society!
We are a bunch of farm animal enthusiasts who hold talks, practicals and a yearly symposium about all things farm! Everyone from every course and with every level of experience is welcome – we are here to increase your confidence and knowledge of the farm species plus offer experiences to those committed to farming, farm practice and research!
Join us for discounts on talks and events as well as newsletters and emails with farming opportunities! We have lots of fun things planned for this year, including our much loved “Farm Walk & Talks" at Bolton's Park Farm, Alpaca Handling sessions, RVC FAVS Symposium & MORE! Check the calendar below to make sure you don’t miss out on any of this year’s activities plus don’t forget to find us on Facebook (RVC Farm Animal Veterinary Society) and Instagram (@rvcfavs)!
Membership also gives you access to National FAVS which posts placements, job advertisements and the opportunity of attending national FAVS congress!
We have an extremely successful Aberdeen Angus herd up at the Hertfordshire Campus which we take to the Hertfordshire show and students can get involved with. Feel free to email hhaberdeenangus22@gmail.com to find out more!
To join our mailing list, drop us an email at sufavs@rvc.ac.uk
We look forward to meeting all new members and welcoming back all our current members!
