RVC Interprofessional Symposium - free to attend

RVC Interprofessional Symposium - free to attend

Sat 24 April 2021 09:45-19:00

Vet and Vet Nursing students at the Royal Veterinary College have set up an Interprofessional club that allows student vets and nurses to work and learn together about each other's roles in practice. We really want to encourage other vet and vet nursing schools to have their own version of an interprofessional club - especially those that teach both courses or have a nursing college nearby. That is why we are inviting all of you to an online symposium focusing on showcasing the work and experiences of some amazing veterinary professionals.

Talks will cover topics such as:

  • life in a referral practice with Elliot Kneba from The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre
  • brachycephalics with Dr Nai-Chieh from the University of Cambridge BOAS Research group
  • an interprofessional approach to managing canine behaviour issues with veterinary behaviourist, Sophie White
  • panel discussion on vets and nurses that have owned their own practice

We'll also be closing the online event with a social and the chance to win an array of competition prizes.

Tickets will be free, so keep the 24th of April available and sign up at https://www.vvnsymposium.co.uk/
