To celebrate Pride Month, the RVCSU supported the RVC EDI unit's Pride Celebration Event. We enjoyed a LGBT history quiz and the first Pride Awards ceremony, and I was honoured to receive the prize for Visibility on behalf of the RVCSU LGBT+ society. Congratulations to the committee and all involved in this wonderful achievement!
We then joined the BVLGBT+ to march in the London Pride Parade! After wrangling everyone from RVC past and present into a photo (with great difficulty due to how many of us there were!), we had an incredible time walking through London and stopping the parade to pet every single dog we saw. Thank you to everyone who helped sign off Pride Month with such immense joy.
