What is the RVCSU strategic plan?
Essentially this plan provides a strategic direction for the Union, that has developed over the last 2 years, and which acts as a long-term vison board, guiding the SU’s decision making. Whilst the Officer Team hands-over to the next, year on year, this plan serves as a detailed but non-prescriptive guide for the continuous work of the SU team towards our overall goal of delivering the best services and experiences for students.
It factors into every decision we make so that we continuously develop into an SU who is dynamic and inclusive, championing student advocacy, fostering community, and enhancing the student experience for a diverse and growing RVC population.
Our mission is to use the strategic plan to empower RVC students to thrive academically, socially, and professionally by providing exceptional support, fostering belonging, and advocating for their needs while promoting sustainable and inclusive practices.
I am proud of what we have achieved so far, and I look forward to seeing what we will achieve over the next few years!
