Tell us a bit about yourself: In my day job, I’m the CEO of the University of Hertfordshire Students’ Union, where I’ve worked for more than 17 years. I am also a trustee for a domestic violence charity and a school governor. In my non-working time, I am a mum to two children and one very charming golden retriever.
What's your top recommendation for students to get involved during their time at Uni? Try everything! (ok, maybe not EVERYthing – keep it legal 😉) Everyone is new to uni at some point, so go to as much as you can in your first few months and you’ll make friends for life.
Favourite Animal: My sweet golden retriever, Gadget
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, socialising and going out, going to the gym.
Fun Fact: I’m originally from the United States and over the years I’ve travelled to so many new places I needed to have extra pages put in my passport.
