Welcome to the RVC Shelter Medicine Club!! :) 

We are excited to bring another year of Shelter and Charity Medicine events for 2025/2026!

In addition to shelter medicine, we are also committed to ensuring financial accessibility and promoting animal welfare. Whether or not you are planning a career in shelter medicine, these are topics that you will encounter frequently throughout your career. We aim to offer a range of talks, events, and resources that address these issues. We are also aiming to connect our members with opportunities to get involved with shelters in the London area & beyond, whether it be for AHEMS, clinEMS, or even just volunteering, as well as more international networking connections. 

We are planning more in-person events & practicals, so if you enjoyed our Pet CPR event this year, follow us on socials/WhatsApp to be kept up-to-date. 

If you've worked in a shelter before, are planning a career in shelter medicine, or are just interested in the club, we hope to have something for everyone. We are open to anyone at the RVC from all cohorts, and hope you will join us this year!!
