It has been a bit of a slow start for us with the pandemic, but we are making good progress towards achieving our bronze Hedgehog Friendly Campus accreditation at the RVC!
The Hedgehog Friendly Campus initiative is a national campaign launched jointly by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and the NUS with three levels of accreditation - bronze, silver and gold. From fundraising to blog writing, hedgehog surveys to wildflower planting, there's loads students can get involved in!
It’s almost Bonfire Night, with November 5th just around the corner! We all love a good bonfire, but so do the hedgehogs (and other wildlife!). They are naturally drawn to areas of bush and debris that are commonly used for garden bonfires. Help protect the British Hedgehog this Bonfire Night by following these three easy steps before you light up the night:
