You can count on me to count your money!
I am seeking election as VP Treasurer to give something back to the SU after benefitting from it for 3 years during BioVetSci and more recently as an RVCHC member.
I'm now a VetMed and believe VP Treasurer is the role for me as working in the cash office at Waitrose has made me skilled at handling money responsibly and efficiently.
Beyond a commitment to fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of the Treasurer, I would like to address the following issues:
- Fair allocation of grants between all clubs and societies, by carefully and impartially assessing their needs.
- Reasonable distribution of funds for events across all courses at the RVC by liaising with course reps and understanding their requirements.
- To make key events of the year more affordable by working closely with Entertainment Officers to achieve the best value for money.
