Hello! I am an ex-gateway student currently in my first year of BVetMed and would love to be your AVS junior rep! I am an enthusiastic, sociable, and organised individual and I love getting people involved with events, all qualities that I believe would make me a great junior rep! Being involved in the IVSA exchange and being Camden representative for the small animal society has given me invaluable experience in organising events and representing the RVC. I have attended both AVS sports weekends since being a fresher and it is because of what I took from these experiences (besides a hangover) that I am applying to become junior rep. Although I love the sesh, both weekends were in fact made by the people I met, and the relationships formed with students from other vet schools. Which has inspired me to become more involved with both the inner workings of the RVC and AVS as a whole.
I am passionate about the importance of the work that AVS does in both forming relationships between vet schools and being the voice of students within the profession and would really love the opportunity to represent the RVC!
