SOPHIE MACINTOSH

Being part of the RVC IVSA committee, in my gateway year last year is one of the main reasons that drove me to nominate myself for this role. Working with the current Senior Tav, and Junior Jordan gave me an idea of the student I want to be when I’m in their current year, and the skills they have acquired from IVSA are ones I want to gain and hone. Travelling is a passion of many, including myself but the other benefits of IVSA such as networking and socialising are skills that I personally believe my outgoing and approachable self to be good at, reflected through my current work as an ambassador at the uni. I love to throw myself into RVC life as much as possible, also being secretary for the SSAVS this year, organising a range of talks and activities at both campuses. So as a fun and loving northern girl I would love to be your IVSA Junior rep and continue the amazing work our current reps have done, making IVSA bigger, better and increasing peoples awareness of the great opportunities it has to offer.
