Ellie Wilson- I want to stand for entertainment officer because I feel I will do it justice; I’m positive, fun, approachable and responsible (when I need to be). I have lots of ideas I want to bring to the table to improve the freshers experience such as a more integrated relationship between new and older students and also introduce SU organised games at the club events. I currently live in intercollegiate halls and attend a lot on UOL, UCL and KCL events. This has giving me a wider prospective on what works and what we’re missing in the RVC events system. Jessica Predko- Hello Royal Veterinary College! I am currently running for the Students’ Union Election for Entertainment Officer.
If you vote for me, I will make sure that there will be a wide variety of entertainment and social activities suitable for everyone both during freshers’ weeks for new students and during term time for continuing students.
I believe that with my experience with working with a variety of people on work placements and my strong ability to organise and see the smooth running of events would make me a valuable member of the Students Union Team.
Some amazing ideas I would love to introduce are:
MORE variety of freshers’ week activities; more day-time activities and more ALTERNATIVES to just night clubbing!
MORE activities, MORE often, during term time!
Ideas include:
London Dungeons, The London Eye, Madame Tussauds, sight-seeing, theatre trips, museum visits, ice-skating, evening meals; calmer, quieter boat rides; picnics in the park, go-karting, paint-balling and concerts. With your vote, I will make sure entertainment and social activities at Royal Veterinary College can be accessed by and is suitable for everyone and no-one will be left out!
