Equine Competition Vetting

Antonia Milner-Matthews BSc BVetMed is an equine ambulatory vet based in Devon. Antonia is also the Welfare and Disciplinary Director for Endurance GB, the veterinary advisor for Endurance GB, the Welsh Endurance Team Vet, an FEI treatment vet and regularly vets at national level endurance as well as at other equine events. 

The talk will focus on what an equine vet does at various events, how you can get involved as a student and once qualified, and how to deal with different situations as they present, from potential fractures, a horse tying up, to common wounds.
