RVC Hawkshead Campus

Ticketing information: This year it is the Royal Veterinary College Zoological Society’s turn to host The Southern Veterinary Student Zoological Symposium. The event will take place January 18-20th at RVC’s Hawkshead campus. Join us for a packed weekend of lectures and practicals in exotic pet, zoo animal and wildlife medicine, surgery and conservation. Full tickets includes 6 morning lectures and 4 afternoon practicals, entrance to pub quiz on Friday evening, lunch/ tea on Saturday and Sunday, and a formal dinner on Saturday evening. Lecture only tickets includes 6 morning lectures, entrance to pub quiz on Friday evening, lunch/ tea on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, this year we will be running streams so you can get the most out of what you are interested in, which includes a stream on careers in the various disciplines that the zoological veterinary world has to offer!

Information for RVC Students: Please buy a ticket according to your respective campus. Members of RVC Zoological Society will receive a £3 discount. All people in Hawkshead must be prepared to host at least 2 people in their accommodation for the weekend. If you can house extra people (ie: more than 2 people, maximum of 5/6 people) please buy the extra housing ticket and you will receive a £5 discount. Student housed in your homes will receive breakfast pack from RVCZS and will be expected to bring their own sleeping bags.

Information for other UK Students: Tickets to be released November 19, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Accomodation will be provided for you by RVC students near Hawkshead campus. We will provide you with a breakfast pack and you will be required to bring your own sleeping bags. Please plan your arrival so that you are here by 6:30pm on Friday, January 18th.
